Im finding out Spanish & ns am Black. If people ask me in English the beginning of mine accent ns tell them ns am Jamaican & Dominican. Is speak "Soy media (because i am female) jamaiquina y dominicana" or "Soy jamaiquina y dominicana" correct? just how do civilization say this?

"Soy mitad x, mitad y"

However, the hispanic word doesn't offer so much importance to ethnicity, so civilization generally introduce themselves as their nationality or your parents', in ~ most, unless their ethnicity is uncommon in their ar of origin (Korean in Spain, Arabic in Ecuador, etc.). I'm discussing this since in English speaking countries it's usual to say, because that example, the you're Italian beacuse among your great-grandparents was from Italy.

Edit: analyzed to English beacuse that's the language OP used.

I think the Italian point is practically entirely American fairly than English speaking.

For clarification: ns was born in united state so ns am american by nationality. Yet I have a hefty accent due to being increased in a Caribbean household. So I get asked by both americanos y hispanohablantes "what room you? You have an accent". I don't say black due to the fact that I'm pretty sure that's currently obvious lol. Ns tell them the nationality of my parents. I watch in the comments this is together not usual in Latin America. Gracias a todos por responder. Additionally in US plenty of ppl use nationality to explain ethnicity. Ns don't recognize why due to the fact that nationality ≠ ethnicity.
