I have a problem and also it is a big one. I have actually a quite 2 year old Sony 32" tube TV, the KV32FV310. I like the TV but I am moving. The TV weighs 172lbs, the dimensions are 35.38 in. (W) x 23 in. (D) x 26.88 in. (H).

Right now it is save on the 2nd floor in a house. Over there lies the an initial problem, stairs. Then it will certainly go to an apartment throughout town i m sorry is located on the third (top) floor. There are is no elavator.
I perform not have actually the initial box, therefore unfortunately the is the end of the question.
What should I do to move this beast, other then hire experienced movers, come the new home. Ns am ready to buy offers as lengthy as the doesn"t exceed $100. Likewise in mine circle of friends were all either fat or too skinny come lift the TVs and obviously no smart sufficient to come up through an idea to relocate it.
(btw also the reviews point out its a hefty beast: http://www.dealtime.com/xPR-Sony_KV_32FV310)

It"s not really the load of the thing.. That is the shape that provides it cumbersome to lift.
Like because that my 80lbs 22" screen I carried the other day.. Just took me a couple of secs to get the best finger hold on it because that a certain lift.

Just be cautious when lifting, the load in a pipe tv is no evenly dispersed the every the weight is in the front (the screen) and also it can frequently supprise world when they lift.

What some of you may not relize is the 32" Tv"s are fairly easy come move except a sony.
Sony is the most difficult & ideal CRT based TV the glass in the photo tube is 3 come 4 time thicker than on other crt tvs.
You may think ns am BSing girlfriend or wonder whereby I acquired this info.My dad has worked on TV"s for virtually 40 years and he claims nothing win sony because that crt TV beacause they room built better & usage a complety different photo tube & flyback than any type of other crt based tv ever before made.
He has operated on the first sony"s to be offered in america.

Had a trouble with a substantial tv before.
I gained some that the grip ingredient you have the right to buy from hardware stores because that the garage, for holding wood and also stuff, currently the peak of part finished pine tree floorboards (not varnished), grounding the difficult junk on the top, tv on peak of that, and slowly v two people, slide it down the stairs.
The stairs had actually carpet, so ns dunno if this will help you or not.
About getting it back up... If her friends room really the measly and whimpy, take it it one action at a time. Up one, tv down through you or the more powerful one, supporting the over hanging edge.
I think this makes sence.

Well oddly enough I brought a 35 incher Citizen flat Screen. One difficulty though a vast massive hump for a back. I"d recommend placed a bath towel on the screen lay that flat versus your chest and also slowly pick up. Bend at knees save straight and also have a few spotters if you can"t pick it up.
