Anyone have any type of ideas or a comparable thread friend can point me to? thanks, nate

I to be going come say its in the brake crate maybe...........something is giving 12 volts to your brake lights hence the factor your cruise doesn"t work (it thinks your brakes space on). Turn your parking lamp on and also see if any others don"t work.

The brake crate is stock to the ideal of my knowledge. I simply went out to start my truck and i checked all the lights. Headlights and also the high beams work. The parking lights in the headlights work. The 3rd brake irradiate is burned out ns believe. And also the brake lights room still on also with the truck in park and also the foot turn off the pedal.

If no I"m stumped. Something is feeding 12 volts to the brake wire. In the remote starts I supplied to install us tapped the brake wire. As for the tow mirror lights mine only work wit the revolve signal.

Is her brake pedal coming all the means back up? grab it and see if you have the right to pull it up any. Also, without the engine running push the pedal down with your hand...you should hear that brake switch make a click sound as the pedal is pressed down and also click again as the pedal returns. Pop the strength steering cap off once to relax the pressure and re-install it and see if the brake light goes off. There was a recall on part 2010s wherein the brake pedal would return slowly because of push in the pwr steering system however I haven"t heard that it causing the pedal to "stick" causing the brake lamp to remain on.If friend think it can be in the brake controller, reach up under there and unplug it to see if the problem goes away. And perform you have actually the share tail lights or have you got LEDs installed? If you have actually LEDs look at them. The amber lamp on the tow winter only job-related with the revolve signals and also flash when you lock/unlock the truck. It"s usual that lock burn the end from moisture gaining into them but they have actually no effect on your brake irradiate issue.
