I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 5.3l shortbox 4x4 and also the SES irradiate popped up with code P0446. I want to clean out my EVAP vent valve and possibly change the EVAP vent solenoid but can't discover it! mine Haynes manual is worthless. It reflects a nice picture of it but doesn't mention where the is. I've searched and searched forums and everybody talks about how easy it is come clean or replace. The only problem is that on my van it shows up that that is situated on top of the fuel tank through no apparent way to reach it. No one of the forums, or the GM TSBs I have read to speak anything about having to eliminate the bed or fuel tank to acquire to it. Go anybody have any suggestions or know where the is for sure? I would appreciate any kind of help. Thanks!
