One unique feature of the B&O inspired color position light signals, are the CPL dwarf signals. Essentially miniatures of the standard mast signal, CPL dwarf signals showed the same indications, requiring crews to remember fewer signal indications.

Type U Dwarf Diagrams 
The GRS Type U was one of the earliest incarnations of the CPL dwarf signal.
These diagrams are extremely rare.
